Schedule a private group calligraphy workshop and learn the basics of modern calligraphy! 1.5 hours of instruction is provided (inquire if an extended workshop is preferred) and any materials you need will be provided and are yours to keep after the class! Tickets are $95/person, 5 attendees at minimum required to book (if you have less than 5 attendees, feel free to purchase the Private Calligraphy Class or reach out directly).

Classes can be in person or remote and locations are flexible.

Your ticket includes:

  • 1.5 hours of instruction (or more)

  • calligraphy pens depending on class type:

    • Pointed Pen Calligraphy: oblique calligraphy pen (nib holder), 2 nibs, black ink pot

    • Brush Pen Calligraphy: 2 fudenosuke brush pens, 1 tombow dual brush pen

    • Faux Calligraphy: 2 tombow dual brush pens

  • Introductory worksheets/workbook

  • Rhodia paper pad

  • Tracing paper

This 1.5 hour class will be focused on teaching the basic fundamentals of modern calligraphy using a calligraphy pen or marker. Whether you’re a lettering fanatic, crafty individual, DIY expert, or someone just looking to try something new, this class will be perfect for you! With no experience necessary, we’ll provide you with all the materials you need and teach you the basics so you can start adding beautiful lettering to your holiday cards, wedding invitations, home decor, you name it.

In addition to to the instruction you’ll receive, you will also get our introductory calligraphy worksheets and applicable materials. Depending on the workshop type, different calligraphy pens, brushes, and ink will be provided. All the materials are yours to keep and you’ll even get some extra practice resources so you can continue learning after the class!
